The capital city of Italy, located on the river Tiber has more than 2,500 years of history. The Vatican City is located in the centre of Rome and is the seat of the Roman Catholic Church. The Vatican City is a sovereign territory and the home of the Holy Father, Pope Francis. Today Rome is a modern cosmopolitan city and the third most visited tourist destination in Europe.

Assisi

Assisi is the birthplace of St. Francis, who founded the Franciscan religious order in 1208. St. Clare (Chiara d'Offreducci) a follower of St Francis and the founder of the Poor Clares was also born there. The Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi (St. Francis) is a world heritage site and truly a magnificent building.

San Giovanni

A town in the Puglia region of Southern Italy which was the home of Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, a Capuchin friar, priest and mystic known for his devotion to God. The shrine centres around Padre Pio’s tomb inside the Church of Our Lady of Grace (Santa Maria delle Grazie).

Rome

20th – 24th May 2019 (4 nights) – LONDON flight departure.

Depart from London and transfer to Rome city for 4 nights Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

We will have daily Mass and will join in with walking tours and visits to historic and religious sites.

Extras: Single Room - £90 per person, but very limited availability.

            Insurance - £30 per person

This tour includes a full spiritual programme with a Spiritual Director

Rome, San Giovanni and Assisi

8th – 15th October 2019 (7 nights) - LONDON flight departure.

Price: £878 per person, sharing. – COST DOES NOT INCLUDE FLIGHTS.

Depart from London to Rome airport and transfer to the city for 3 nights half-board accommodation. In Rome, we will join in with walking tours and visits to historical and religious sites, with tickets included for the Papal Audience (when applicable).

We will then transfer to San Giovanni, with a stop on the way, for 2 nights half-board accommodation. In San Giovanni we will visit places of interest as well as the shrine of St Padre Pio.

We transfer to Assisi, with a stop at Lanciano (site of an Eucharistic Miracle) for 2 nights half-board accommodation. We will have visits to the Basilicas of St. Francis and St. Clare and other places of interest.

This pilgrimage includes daily Mass as well as a full spiritual programme and Courier services.

Extras: Single room supplement - £154 for the duration - Very limited single rooms available.
           Travel insurance - £33 per person.
